大嶼山東灣新中心項目: 設計概況
While applying land since 2004, the project team has been developing preliminary design for the master layout plan for Dhamma Mutta in Tung Wan. As requested by Lands Department, they submitted the master layout plan to Building Department for an ‘Enquiry Submission’ in 2006 to ensure that the plan could be accepted by various government departments. No adverse comments were received from these departments.
The proposed permanent centre will have full facilities which are required for holding proper long courses (20, 30, 45 and 60 days) such as individual cells and individual single rooms with attached bathrooms for student living quarters etc.
The project team has prepared tender documents and invited consultants to provide fee quotation to carry out the detailed design and supervision works for the proposed centre. At present, the project team is meeting the tenderers to understand their submissions in more details.
